Technical Information

The site was hand coded in semantic XHTML1.0, and conforms to W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) accessibility guidelines. All layout, appearance and rollover coding is handled with CSS2 via (with very few exceptions) remotely linked style sheets. Validation is to W3C standards for XHTML Strict and CSS.

The image gallery popups are facilitated by the Lightbox v2 javascript / css program. As such, for the galleries to work, javascript must be enabled in the client browser.

Dreamweaver 8 was employed for site management tasks, Photoshop CS2 and Image Ready for image processing, and Flash 8 for the creation of the Shockwave banners.

Any contact information submitted to scubalatif.com shall be deemed private and will not be shared with any third parties, with the exception of email addresses and urls (website addresses) submitted to the guestbook. These can be viewed by other visitors to the site, and therefore Scubalatif.com cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for their appropriation by any third parties.
