Scuba Diving in Doha, Qatar

June 2008

This month at Scubalatif.com

Return of the Jellies!

It’s that time of year again – the water is warm and the first jellyfish of the season have been sighted. They may not be deadly, but their sting sure leaves a mark!

A reminder to be prepared as you head out to dive – keep a bottle of vinegar or medicated sting cream in the car. You won’t regret it!

A Special Thankyou

The crew at scubalatif.com would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful letter sent into PADI by Shad and Leila Forsythe. The letter described some of the couple’s experiences while completing their diving course, and was very complimentary.

Your kind comments were very much appreciated! Thank you both!

Scubalatif Forum

Keep an eye out for the upcoming launch of scubalatif.com’s new forum! The forum will be a great place for you to ask questions, find out about the weekend diving, post your pictures and just chat with other divers!

Once the forum is up and running, it will be linked to the website.

The Busy Season

Whether it is the increase of people moving to Doha, or the increase in the temperature, we’re not sure, but one thing is for certain – the beaches this year are incredibly busy!

Open Water courses are currently booked full until the start of July! If you would like to sign up for July, make sure to email or call us so we can set up a time to meet.
